3D Printing - Fabricating for a Function part 2 (Journal Entry 10)

The 3D object I chose to create was a wall hook used to hold my caps. I reasearched many different hooks because I wanted one that fit my wall and made sense in my room. I ended picking a single hook for my wall, when in my last blog I used a 2 hook version. Old model that I was going to make.
Model that I created
I ultimately switched my inspiration to this kind of hook because I liked it more and I was able to figure it out through fusion because I watched many tutorials and I felt like this fit best. One thing I sturggled with at first was finding out how the nail would spin through the hole. I later found out the hole button the changed the smaller hole into the spirals so the nail would fit. The model is 75 mm by 20 mm. I also used this button named chamfer to design the hook so I can put the caps on the hook. For now I think Its pretty much finished, but I might fix some things later if it doesn't look right.
